Stop Targeting Community Organization Leadership

On March 27th, not even 20 days after the wrongful arrests of the Grand Rapids Eight, the Grand Rapids Police Department targeted and arrested three more activists, one of them being Justice for Black Lives’ Vice President. The GRPD has lied and claimed that there were warnings, we did not receive one. They also claimed that nobody was injured when they slammed our Vice President and dragged an organizer from We the Free People as well as held her arms out of their sockets. This is not okay and we cannot let the targeting of our community leaders continue
